Every voice matters - out of many colors, one voice... When inspiration brought this to me during an impromptu looper recording, the phonetics 'Suus a vaala, suus ala' just came out of me. I then attempted to find out what that phrase meant so I might write the lyrics around the spontaneous maunder. Although I am usually able to 'interpret' these utterances, I could not accurately decipher this one. From what Google translate tells me, it could be Estonian for 'a single mouth' or Finnish, or Latin… I went with the Estonian to finish the lyrics but I am hoping a true linguist will translate it accurately for me one day…here's A Single Word, from my new CD, IDIO
