  ECO-GAMI is what I call my original Disc Packaging design for DIY (do-it-yourself) artists to reduce plastic waste. For this run of CDs, instead of paying for jewel cases, we cut packaging costs and went GREEN with an 'ECO-GAMI' jacket.
  
  Perfect for environmentally (and cash) conscious DIY artists, I designed the Eco-Gami as a single 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper, printed on both sides and folded to create a CD jacket. There's enough room for photos, liner notes and lyrics - and no cutting, special perforated paper, jewel cases or minimum print runs are involved.
  
  Artists can print Eco-Gami using consumer printers and I share my template free to any who ask. The jacket is as rigid as whatever paper or card stock you print it on and I also enclose the CDs in white paper inner sleeves and shrinkwrap the outside. Many consumers throw away their jewel cases after buying a CD these days anyway...
  
  There are many advantages to Eco-Gami vs. Jewel Cases.
